Lastly, taking the MRT and buses is good for visiting different states, or if in Europe, you can visit some of the neighbouring countries. For new travellers, there is a whole new world full of adventure just waiting for you to discover.

Despite being one of the major exporting cities of the country and having the biggest port in the Philippines, Cebu has a laid-back and idyllic pace. It has maintained peace and order throughout the province. In fact, crime is minimal. Pollution here is also less than in other large cities in the Philippines. These are some factors why Cebu has become a favoured destination for many foreigners like the Japanese, the Koreans, and some Westerners.
